A/N: Tried my hands at micro poetry (inspired by Sarah Doughty) and it turned out about twice as long as planned. Oh, well 🙂 Let me know what you think
I might
Be burning
With a desire
A yearning
To leave all
To run and flee
All I haven’t
I wish to see.
But I will
Only go
If I’m sure
If I know
That home is waiting
Patiently
For my return
So faithfully.

Hi everyone!
I'm a young girl on twenty-one, who is currently taking the bachelor Popular Fiction at the South Gate Society School of Creative Writing.
Here I'll study every kind of writing, which means this website will be about anything from short stories to poems. I will write everything from my preferred subject - fantasy - to experimental texts, where I'll try to grow as an author.
Enjoy!

Need to try some of this. Did so a long time ago, although didn’t know it was called ‘micro poetry.’ Nice piece!

Thank you! 😀 Well, to be honest I’m not sure of it’s technically short enough 😛

Ha! Well….its okay, some rules are meant to be bent, some broken. This is definitely on the rubber band spectrum 😛
